R-MAX The R-MAX: In recent years, our sport has seen a significant increase in freefall speeds with the growing popularity of freefly and speed skydiving. For the first time, there is now a reserve parachute specifically tested and manufactured for these disciplines.

The R-MAX Reserve is made with DuPont SolarMax fabric and constructed with our custom-woven Spectra reinforcement tape, interwoven throughout the canopy for superior strength and reliability at higher speeds. This structural network is combined with a spanwise reinforcement system to create a matrix of load-bearing elements that unify the canopy’s integrity under higher stresses.

This robust structure is integrated with our superior line attachment system to produce the strongest reserve we have ever manufactured—and we’ve been building reserve parachutes for over 30 years. In fact, we’ve produced more ram-air reserves than anyone else worldwide, across both sport and military applications.

The R-MAX Reserve underwent over three years of extensive design testing, including high-speed drop tests at 400 km/h with 20% more than the maximum rated weight. The Deep PowerBand™ flare generates significant lift at the end of your flight, helping ensure safety in case of an off-DZ landing.
