Performance Designs Optimum

The Optimum Reserve is made from a 30 denier low-porosity, low-bulk fabric that is exclusively available from Performance Designs. We’ve combined this fabric with special aerodynamics and extensive reinforcements to create high strength, better performance, and a much smaller pack volume for a given size.

This reserve has been successfully tested at weights and speeds significantly higher than those required for FAA certification under TSO C23d, the highest standard to date.

The Optimum flies and lands much more like a main parachute, with a powerful flare and a long range, outperforming any reserve we’ve ever tested.
